Dontae Christian

Coach, Boys Program

Dontae Christian brings a dynamic mix of playing, coaching, and officiating experience to Arsenal Basketball. As a former point guard at Eastern Connecticut State University, Dontae played a pivotal role in winning two conference championships and earning two NCAA tournament appearances. Before his collegiate career, he excelled at Brooks School under the guidance of Massachusetts Hall of Fame coach John McVeigh, earning First Team All-Independent School League honors and multiple ISL Championships.

With coaching experience at renowned programs like Five Star Camp, Hoop Group Elite Camp, and New Heights AAU, Dontae has developed a reputation for his innovative training methods and ability to inspire young athletes to reach their full potential. As an IAABO-certified referee, he also brings a unique perspective on the game, blending his understanding of strategy, rules, and sportsmanship.

New to Arsenal, Dontae is excited to contribute to the program’s tradition of excellence by helping players grow both on and off the court. Believing that mental resilience is key to success, he emphasizes the importance of overcoming challenges and maintaining balance, reminding his players: "The good news is everything is temporary; the bad news is everything is temporary."
